Ep 83 – Midsommar (2019) with Spencer Dunn

“Well we think of life like the seasons.”

When people think of horror movies they often think about jump scares, lots of blood, gore, spooky creatures, ghosts, or…*shudder* children. But some horror movies opt for a different approach where it’s horror of the mind, slowly peeling away at your psyche as you watch it, such as on this week’s episode of Talkin’ Tuong. So join Tuong and Castle Rockettes’s Spencer Dunn as they take a look at the bright and disturbing Swedish folk horror/cultish nightmare that is 2019’s Midsommar.

100 – Ranked’s 100th Episode Spectacular

Celebrating 100 episodes of Ranked!
Almost 4 years ago there was an idea. An idea of Tuong uniting three other guests to bicker, banter, and passionately put together arbitrary Top 5 lists of anything and everything. Over the last few years we have ranked everything from Sandwich Toppings, to TV Theme Songs, to a variety of Fictional Animals. But for the 100th episode, we knew we had to go above and beyond to make a list that TRULY does not matter that also honours the legacy of all Ranked episodes (so far).

So join us as Tuong La and the A-Team Angus MacDonald, Samantha Leggatt, and Leslie Cserepy look back on all of the winners of each Top 5 list we have ever done, pit them together in a battle royale of which #1 was the best, and record a marathon episode where we rank and order ONE HUNDRED EPISODES in Ranked’s 100th Episode Spectacular!
